NADYA: Voices Rising

Nadya Alvarez, teacher and land-owner, is another Rio Grande Valley resident whose home is threatened by the construction of the Border Wall. She has refused to sign over access to her property, which was handed down from her grandfather. Together, with the Texas Civil Rights Project, they are boldly serving the movement for equality and justice in and out of the courts.
